PROMETHEUSTRAINING CAMPS

Ho Chi Minh City

Three mornings, two tracks, one small group. Foundation builds the fundamentals for new players. Accelerated is for players stuck at 2.5: we find what is costing you points on day one, rebuild it at volume on day two, and test it under match pressure on day three. Dates are set around your group.

What it is

A three-day camp in Ho Chi Minh City with two tracks. Foundation covers the fundamentals — grip, footwork, serve, return, dink — so the game stops feeling like guesswork. Accelerated is for players who have plateaued: it opens with an assessment against the 3.0 standard — point construction, third-shot drop, deep return, dinks that hold, reset — not a fixed syllabus. On either track, day one finds what is actually holding you back, then the camp builds it at volume and puts it under match pressure until it holds.

Who it is for

Foundation: new or beginner players, roughly 2.0–2.5, who want the basics right from the start. Accelerated: players who rally comfortably but lose to the same mistakes every time, stuck around 2.5 and aiming for 3.0. A DUPR rating is useful but not required – the day-one assessment sets the plan. Pick your track in a conversation with a coach.

How it runs

  • Day 1 – assessment, and the plan for the camp is set from it
  • Day 2 – high-volume work on what the assessment found, then live-ball pressure
  • Day 3 – competitive play, and an honest read on where you now are
  • Foundation – fundamentals first: grip, footwork, serve, return, dink
  • Accelerated – the 3.0 standard: building points, third-shot drop, resets
  • Video review where it helps

What you leave with

  • Foundation: a repeatable serve, return and dink, and the footwork under them
  • Foundation: the confidence to play real games without guessing
  • Accelerated: a way to build a point, not just keep the rally going
  • Accelerated: returns deep enough that you start the point on your terms
  • Accelerated: a third-shot drop that lets you take the kitchen
  • Accelerated: dinks that hold when you get moved, and resets that turn their offense back into a dink
